Contract Recruiter - Tech, IR35

We're looking for an experienced IT Contract Recruiter to join our team on an initial 3-month contract on a hybrid basis (London). This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of delivering high-quality IT contractors across a range of technical disciplines.

About the Role

You will take ownership of the full recruitment life cycle, partnering with hiring managers to source, engage, and place skilled IT contractors. You'll be responsible for building strong candidate pipelines, managing client relationships, and ensuring an exceptional experience for both candidates and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for IT contract roles.
• Source and engage high-quality contract professionals using a variety of channels.
• Build and maintain a strong network of IT contractors.
• Qualify candidates through detailed screening and interviews.
• Coordinate interviews, manage offers, and oversee the onboarding process.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
• Ensure recruitment activity is compliant with relevant legislation and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records within the ATS/CRM.

About You

• 3-5 years' experience recruiting IT contractors in an agency or in-house environment.
• Demonstrable success placing contractors across areas such as Infrastructure, Cloud, Cyber Security, Software Development, Data, DevOps, or Business Change.
• Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and networking.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• A proactive, results-driven approach with a focus on delivering quality hires.

Desirable

• Experience recruiting within UK technology markets.
• Knowledge of IR35 and contractor engagement models.
• Experience using modern ATS and CRM platforms.
