About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced and highly capable 3rd Line Support Engineer to join a fast-paced Managed Service Provider (MSP) team in Central London. This is a full-time, on-site role, perfect for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment and enjoys working across diverse systems, networks, and applications.

You'll serve as the technical escalation point for 1st and 2nd line teams, taking ownership of advanced troubleshooting, infrastructure management, and project delivery across a variety of SME and enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex support issues across client environments.

  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, networks, and cloud platforms.

  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and M365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune).

  • Perform server migrations, cloud integrations, and infrastructure upgrades.

  • Support and manage virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).

  • Oversee networking systems: firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs.

  • Assist with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver best-in-class support.

  • Document all configurations, changes, and solutions in the ticketing system and internal knowledge base.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in a 2nd/3rd line support role within an MSP or multi-client environment.

  • Strong technical expertise in:

    • Windows Server 2016-2022

    • Microsoft 365 administration

    • Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP

    • Azure administration and migration experience

    • VMware or Hyper-V environments

    • Networking (firewalls, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs)

  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a high-pressure setting.
