The Role

We are seeking an AI Engineer with strong experience in agentic AI workflow automation, and machine learning, ideally within RegTech or highly regulated environments. You will design, build, and deploy intelligent systems that orchestrate AI agents, automate complex workflows, and extract value from structured and unstructured data at scale.

This role sits at the intersection of AI engineering, software development, and applied machine learning, working closely with product, platform, and data teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy agentic AI systems and intelligent workflows for regulated use cases
  • Develop automation-first AI pipelines for regulatory processes (e.g. monitoring, reporting, compliance checks)
  • Implement multi-agent systems using modern orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangGraph or similar)
  • Build and productionise machine learning models for classification, extraction, prediction, or anomaly detection
  • Integrate LLMs, generative AI, and traditional ML into scalable, secure applications
  • Process real-time, unstructured, and semi-structured data (text, documents, speech, images)
  • Collaborate with software engineers to embed AI capabilities into cloud-native, SaaS platforms
  • Ensure solutions meet data privacy and security standards (GDPR, CCPA)
  • Contribute to architecture decisions, performance optimisation, and AI system monitoring

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant STEM discipline.
  • Strong Python development skills for AI/ML and backend services
  • Hands-on experience with agentic AI architectures and autonomous workflows
  • Practical experience with AI orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangGraph, LangChain, custom agent frameworks)
  • Experience building and deploying machine learning models in production
  • Understanding of the AI lifecycle: prompt engineering, workflow orchestration, deployment, evaluation, monitoring
  • Experience working with RegTech or regulated environments.
  • Solid knowledge of API development, data pipelines, and system integration
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and scalable AI systems

Desirable / Nice to Have

  • Experience with NLP, OCR, speech-to-text, or document intelligence
  • Exposure to computer vision or multimodal AI systems
  • Knowledge of real-time data processing and streaming architectures
  • Experience with multi-agent systems or intelligent agents in production
  • Background in hybrid AI design (rules + ML + generative AI)

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI systems shaping the future of regulated industries
  • A hybrid working model with a London-based team
  • High-impact role with ownership over core AI workflows and architecture
  • Collaborative, engineering-led culture focused on innovation and real-world outcomes
  • Competitive salary and benefits package
