Azure Migration Specialist | 3-months (possible extension) | Yorkshire, England | £400-£600 p/day

Location: Yorkshire Contract length: 3 Months (possibility of extension)Working hours: Monday to Friday (Standard hours, hybrid work)Start date: ASAP Rate: £400-£600 p/day

Our client is looking for a real expert in this field to come in and orchestrate and implement their migration from on-prem to Azure.

Key responsibilities:

• Assess current on-premises infrastructure and applications to determine cloud readiness.

• Develop and execute a migraiton plan within the alloacated timeframe.

• Use tools like Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, or CloudEndure to streamline migration tasks.

• Configure core Azure infrastructures: VNets, NSGs, VPNs, storage accounts, and RBAC.

• Provide handover guide for internal support teams.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure migrations (IaaS-focused, lift-and-shift).

• Proficiency in using Azure migration tools (e.g., Azure Migrate, ASR).

• Solid understanding of networking, virtual machines, and security best practices in Azure.

• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305) are a plus.
