Overview
We're working with a high-profile, innovation-led organisation based in Nottingham that is actively transforming its technology platform using Microsoft Azure, DevOps, and cloud-native architecture.
This is a highly project-focused role suited to an Azure Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Azure DevOps Engineer who wants to work on large-scale cloud migration, platform engineering, and modernisation initiatives rather than traditional support.
The environment is cloud-first, automation-driven, and engineering-led - with a strong emphasis on scalability, security, reliability, and cost optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Azure cloud platforms and landing zones
- Deliver Azure infrastructure projects including migrations, modernisation, and new platform builds
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) for repeatable deployments
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
- Engineer highly available, secure, and resilient cloud environments
- Implement Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, VPN, ExpressRoute) and identity (Entra ID / Azure AD, RBAC)
- Collaborate with DevOps, Platform, Security, and Software Engineering teams
- Improve platform monitoring, logging, cost optimisation (FinOps), and governance
- Create platform standards, reference architectures, and documentation

- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400)
