Job Title: BI Analyst
Location: Bristol (Hybrid 2/3 days a week onsite)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE
Role Profile
We are seeking a strategic and commercially-minded Data Analyst to lead the data strategy, elevate our reporting capabilities, and deliver impactful insights that influence executive decision-making and drive performance across the organisation.
This role sits at the heart of our transformation journey - reporting directly to the Chief Purpose Officer and working closely with C-suite leaders to ensure data is a key driver of operational and strategic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO, CFO, Head of Risk, Group Sales Director, providing strategic data and insight to support their decision-making.
- Design, build, and deliver group-wide reporting programmes, primarily using Power BI, aligned with leadership priorities and business strategy.
- Ensure data quality and governance, maintaining the accuracy, validation, and trustworthiness of insights used across the business.
- Provide executive-level analytics, including:
- Forecasting support to the CFO
- Strategic planning and hypothesis testing with the CPO
- Bespoke data support for the CEO
- Act as a strategic partner to Sales and Other leadership, leveraging data to identify growth opportunities and close performance gaps.
- Deliver actionable insights to non-executive leaders across departments (e.g., Regional Managers, Head of Marketing, Head of ACCS), enhancing their ability to drive operational performance.
- Define and lead the execution of a comprehensive data strategy and roadmap, elevating the organisation's data maturity.
- Own and manage our data technology stack (AWS, Snowflake, Kleene, Power BI), including vendor management and platform optimisation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams (Sales, New Homes, Leasehold, Compliance, Marketing, IT, People, Finance, etc.) to maximise existing systems and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in analytics, governance, and tools, introducing innovative methods to ensure they remain future-ready.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of data modelling and data architecture principles.
- Highly commercially minded - able to uncover insights, design impactful reports, and support strategic decision-making.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to influence at C-suite level.
- Self-starter, proactive, and adaptable to change in a purpose-driven and evolving organisation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously across multiple projects.
Experience Required
- Proven experience building and managing a suite of organisational-wide reports that support decision-making.
- 2+ years using Business Intelligence tools (Power BI essential; Looker is a plus but not required).
- Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Experience working with data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Kleene) is highly desirable.
- Exposure to or interest in the financial services, or purpose-driven sectors is a plus.
