About the Role

An established Australian technology company is expanding into the UK and is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead its entry into this new market.

The company delivers tailored enterprise technology solutions that connect business-critical systems-such as ERP, CRM, and cloud platforms-to improve operational efficiency and enable end-to-end automation. Their work supports long-term digital transformation across various industries, including transport logistics, fleet management, and supply chain operations.

This is a new-market role with significant autonomy, ideal for someone who thrives in a growth-focused, entrepreneurial environment and understands how to take a consultative product to market.

Key Responsibilities
  • UK Market Strategy: Shape and execute the company's go-to-market approach for the UK, focusing on sectors such as transport logistics, fleet management, and supply chain operations.

  • Sales & Pipeline Development: Identify, approach, and win new business opportunities, building a strong and sustainable pipeline of mid-sized to enterprise clients.

  • Client Discovery & Solution Design: Engage with prospects to understand operational and technical pain points and propose tailored integration and automation solutions.

  • Partnership Development: Build relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and strategic partners to uncover referral and co-sell opportunities.

  • Cross-Regional Collaboration: Work closely with technical and delivery teams in Australia to ensure project alignment and client satisfaction.

What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within software, SaaS, automation, or digital transformation consulting.

  • Knowledge of enterprise business systems (ERP, CRM, cloud apps) and their role in operational workflows.

  • Experience selling into one or more of the following sectors: transport logistics, fleet management, or supply chain operations.

  • Self-starter with a commercial mindset and ability to build relationships from first contact to signed deal.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across time zones and technical teams.
