Graduate/Junior Web Developer Location: Derby (hybrid, 1-2 days in office per week)Salary: Up to £28,000 + benefits

We're working with a growing organisation looking to expand their development team and bring on board an enthusiastic Graduate or Junior Web Developer. The Role:

• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining web applications

• Work across both frontend and backend tasks with technologies such as PHP, Laravel, React, and Vue

• Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to new feature development

• Support bug fixing and system improvements

• Collaborate with the wider development team, sharing ideas and learning best practices

What We're Looking For:

• A passion for coding and problem-solving, with a willingness to learn and grow

• Some knowledge of PHP (experience with Laravel a plus)

• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React or Vue would be a bonus)

• Understanding of databases such as MySQL

• A team player with good communication skills and attention to detail

Desirable (not essential):

• Experience with Git or version control tools

• Exposure to REST APIs

• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban etc.)

• Awareness of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP etc.)
