Mid-Senior Frontend Developer - Warrington - Salary 45k-55k (DOE)

We're currently working with a well-established and forward-thinking organisation based in Warrington who have an exciting opportunity for a Frontend Developer skilled with React and UI/UX design to join their growing team.

You'll be responsible for building high-quality, performant, and user-centered web interfaces that bring their products to life. This role bridges the gap between design and engineering - ideal for someone passionate about crafting intuitive,visually appealing, and accessible digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive, scalable, and maintainable front-end applications using React (and its ecosystem).
• Collaborate closely with product managers and backend developers to translate business and user needs into elegant interfaces.
• Implement UI/UX best practices, ensuring consistency, usability, and accessibility across all products.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to technical discussions.

Essential Experience:

• 3-6 years of experience in frontend development, ideally in a product-driven environment.
• Strong proficiency with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.
• Experience with state management tools (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or Context API).
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, design systems, and responsive design.
• Experience collaborating with designers using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
• Understanding of web accessibility (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Experience with Building Cross-platform interfaces (Web, Phone, Tablet).
• Experience with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, or similar) and version control (Git).

Desired:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Exposure to Cypress, Jest, or other testing frameworks.
• Experience in design systems or component library architecture.
• Interest in motion design, or animation frameworks (e.g., Framer Motion).
