Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Base up to £45K + Commission- Remote/Hybrid (London)

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious SDR to join a fast-scaling healthtech company at the forefront of clinical trial innovation. You'll play a crucial role in the growth of the business by identifying and engaging high-potential prospects across pharma, biotech, and research organizations. You'll work closely with the Sales Lead and wider commercial team to build pipeline, support outbound campaigns, and help move prospects through the early stages of the sales funnel. This is the ideal role for someone looking to break into SaaS sales or take their first step toward a full Account Executive position.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research target accounts within the life sciences and clinical research sectors
- Execute outbound prospecting campaigns (calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.) to generate qualified leads
- Engage potential customers in conversations to understand their needs and introduce the value proposition
- Book meetings and demos for the senior sales team
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM and regularly report on outreach activity and lead quality
- Collaborate with marketing to optimize lead generation strategies and content
The Requirements
- 3+ year of experience in a B2B sales, business development, or lead generation role (ideally SaaS or healthtech)
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Driven, coachable, and comfortable with outbound outreach and KPIs
- Interest in healthtech, life sciences, or clinical research is a plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not essential with relevant experience
