The Role

We're looking for a commercially minded, relationship-first Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of existing client accounts. This isn't a new business hunting role - it's about becoming a trusted partner to the clients they already have, understanding their goals deeply, and identifying the right opportunities to grow those relationships over time.

You'll be the primary point of contact for your accounts, working closely with internal technical and delivery teams to shape solutions that genuinely fit client needs. If you're the kind of person who gets satisfaction from long-term relationships rather than quick wins, and you can hold your own in conversations with both business and technical stakeholders - this will suit you well.

The role is predominantly remote, so we need someone who is self-directed, proactive in communication, and confident building strong relationships virtually as well as through occasional in-person meetings.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing and growing a portfolio of accounts - building trust with key stakeholders, leading regular reviews, and staying close to each client's evolving needs and challenges. You'll spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities naturally through those relationships, and work with internal teams to develop and present the right solutions. Day-to-day you'll be managing expectations, resolving issues quickly, supporting renewals and proposals, and keeping CRM records accurate and pipeline visibility sharp.

What We're Looking For

You'll have solid experience in an account management or client partner role within a digital agency, software house, IT services provider, or technology consultancy. You understand how to grow accounts consultatively - not through pressure, but through genuine understanding of what a client needs next.

Beyond that, you're commercially aware, technically curious, and comfortable navigating both business and technical conversations. You'll be organised, self-motivated, and effective in a remote-first environment.

What Good Looks Like

Strong client retention, growing revenue within existing accounts, clients adopting more of the service portfolio over time, and a reputation internally and externally as someone who gets things done and builds real trust.
