Sales Lead - base pay £100K + (OTE £200K) Remote/Hybrid (London)

This senior-level sales role is suited for experienced sales leaders with a background in selling clinical trial technology. The position involves owning the full sales cycle, leading a sector-focused sales team, and working closely with internal teams to align sales efforts with strategic goals. It's a high-impact opportunity at a fast-growing startup in the clinical research space, ideal for someone with strong SaaS experience and a deep understanding of the clinical trials ecosystem.

The Role

  • Develop and execute sales strategies in the life sciences and research sector to meet revenue goals
  • Identify and prioritize high-value prospects, managing the full sales cycle from outreach to close
  • Oversee post-sale success including customer satisfaction, renewals, and pipeline health, with regular reporting to leadership
  • Create and refine scalable customer success processes to support predictable growth
  • Maintain strong client relationships by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive team accountability
  • Collaborate with internal teams
  • Deliver product demos and explain technical solutions to clients
  • Represent the company at industry events to support brand visibility and networking
  • Close new enterprise deals across pharma, biotech, CROs, and medical research organizations
  • Use expert prospecting and consultative selling to engage high-potential accounts

The Requirements

  • 10+ years experience doing full sales cycle in B2B SaaS space
  • Success selling enterprise-level clinical trials software and technology
  • Experience selling both nationally and internationally
