Senior .NET Software Engineer (AI Experience)

We're working with an exciting organisation based in Leeds who are looking for a talented Senior .NET Developer with strong Angular and/or React expertise, and experience (or strong interest) in AI-driven solutions to join their growing team.

This hybrid Leeds-based role offers the chance to work on modern, scalable systems while helping shape innovative, AI-powered products.

You'll be responsible for designing and building high-quality, scalable applications across the full stack. This includes developing robust backend services with .NET and ASP.NET, creating responsive front-end experiences, and integrating AI capabilities into real-world applications.

• Develop and maintain applications using .NET (C#) and ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core
• Build modern front-end interfaces with Angular and/or React
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services
• Work with SQL Server and/or NoSQL databases
• Integrate AI/ML services (e.g., APIs, automation, intelligent features)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices

• 3+ years' experience in software development
• Strong experience with .NET / C# and ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core
• Solid front-end development experience with Angular and/or React
• Experience with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, and modern development workflows
• Experience or strong interest in AI technologies (e.g., OpenAI APIs, ML integrations)

• Experience with Azure (App Services, Functions, DevOps) or AWS
• Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes
• Experience with Microservices architecture
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Understanding of message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Service Bus)
