I'm currently working with a specialist UK software provider that's looking to add a Software Developer to their development team to help support and enhance a suite of established products while contributing to the development of new solutions.

This is a great opportunity for a developer who enjoys working across both desktop and web applications, solving complex problems, and supporting systems that are relied upon by organisations delivering critical services.

  • Working across both desktop and web-based applications
  • Supporting the migration of customer data from legacy SQL databases to new platforms

  • Supporting compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 development standards
  • Ensuring systems comply with relevant government legislation and data protection requirements
  • Developing a strong understanding of the organisation's business processes and market needs
  • Completing unit testing before releasing new software or updates
Tech Stack & Experience

Core technologies:

  • C#
  • SQL Server

  • ASP / WCF

Experience working with legacy database migrations or maintaining established enterprise systems would be beneficial.

What They're Looking For
  • Experience developing software within the Microsoft technology stack
  • Strong understanding of SQL and database-driven applications
  • Experience with C#, LINQ, and WPF
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a wider team
  • Ability to estimate work accurately and deliver within agreed timelines

Why This Role?

This is a great opportunity to join a stable and established software company where you'll work on systems that support real-world processes used across the public sector.

You'll have the chance to take ownership of development work, contribute ideas for improvements, and build deep expertise in a niche but important software domain, while working within a collaborative development team.

If you'd like to find out more, apply now and I'll be in touch for a confidential conversation.
