The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Software Developer to join a collaborative development team, working on modernising existing applications while developing new features and products. You'll be involved throughout the software development lifecycle, contributing to technical discussions, improving system performance and helping shape future architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain applications using C# and ASP.NET
  • Build scalable solutions using .NET Framework and .NET Core
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Work with SQL Server databases, writing efficient queries and optimising performance
  • Collaborate with developers, testers and stakeholders in an Agile environment
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical best practice
  • Support the continuous improvement of existing applications and development processes

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years' commercial experience with C#
  • Strong ASP.NET, .NET Framework and .NET Core experience
  • SQL Server and database design
  • REST APIs and microservices
  • JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams

Desirable Skills

  • Azure
  • Blazor
  • Entity Framework / EF Core
  • AI or Machine Learning integrations
  • Docker and containerisation
  • CI/CD pipelines and DevOps
  • Git version control
