The Role

Were looking for a Cloud Operations Team Leader to manage and optimise our cloud infrastructure and lead a skilled engineering team. This is a hands-on leadership role balancing strategic planning with technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Cloud Engineers
• Oversee day-to-day cloud operations: monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, and optimisation.
• Implement and improve Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub Actions.
• Support development teams through CI/CD pipelines.
• Explore AI-driven approaches to infrastructure automation.
• Drive cloud security, governance, compliance, and cost optimisation (FinOps).
• Plan and deliver projects using Agile methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years hands-on experience with AWS.
• Hands on leadership experience, ideally within SaaS environments (this is a huge bonus!)
• Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance.
• Knowledge of cloud cost management and performance monitoring.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
