DevOps Engineer

Linux / AWS / Kubernetes / Terraform

A leading SaaS company is expanding steadily and creating a new Cloud Infrastructure opportunity. They’re seeking a technically strong, client‐focused Cloud & Devops Engineer with deep expertise in AWS & Linux, to join the team in Manchester.

You’ll take ownership of cloud infrastructure on AWS, Linux OS and CI/CD initiatives, and shape DevOps best practices across the engineering function. This position offers the chance to lead DevOps strategy end‐to‐end while collaborating closely with a highly skilled team of engineers and architects.

You should have experience with:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) – EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch (certifications desirable but not essential)
• Terraform for infrastructure‐as‐code, environment provisioning, and repeatable automation
• Kubernetes (preferably EKS), CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps‐style workflows
• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams

Nice to have:

• Experience introducing or scaling DevOps in a growing SaaS/tech organisation
• Background in observability (logging, metrics, tracing) and cost optimisation on AWS
