Digital & Transformation Manager - KEN PCN
Job summary
The Digital and Transformation Manager will be integral in delivering multiple projects aimed at enhancing patient experience, outcomes, and access to appointments. This role involves working centrally with the Digital and Transformation Lead and the Clinical Director for the PCN.
Main duties of the job
The manager will collaborate closely with PCN practice managers, the PCN management team, and a network of digital champions based in each practice. With the recent emphasis on transitioning from analog to digital in the new 10-year NHS plan, this role is crucial in driving these transformative projects forward. You should have a sound working knowledge of IT Implementation Projects.

Our Health Partnership was set up by local GPs who are passionate about providing high quality primary care and using their time and skills effectively to benefit patients.
We are currently a GP partnership of 30 practices with 39 surgeries, serving around 280,000 patients in Birmingham, Wolverhampton, and Shropshire.

Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent level education OR ability to demonstrate competency at this level
- Project Management Certificate (Quality Service Improvement and Redesign (QSIR) or Prince 2)
Experience
- Demonstrable experience of general practice and primary care
- Demonstrable experience in successfully supporting delivery of new initiatives
- Knowledge of budget management
- Experience of developing and managing relationships with a variety of clients, stakeholders
- Significant and demonstrable management experience in the NHS
- Experience of increasing participation in an initiative through communication and engagement.
- Local knowledge
Knowledge & Skills
- Significant and demonstrable knowledge and understanding of PCN networks and their priorities.
- Exceptional organisation and administrative skills
- Word processing skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software / Outlook / PowerPoint and Excel
- Good oral and written communication skills
- A general understanding of the NHS and the way it works both locally and nationally.
- Understanding of social care
- Clinical systems experience
- Experience in business planning
