Test Systems Engineer

Client: BAE SystemsJob Type: ContractJob Title: Software Engineer (Test Systems)Location: Rochester 4 days per week on-siteHourly Rate: £40.00 PAYE OR £53.90 Umbrella inside IR35Duration: 12 months Key Responsibilities:

• Working in a team environment with the development of Test Equipment solutions that support the complex and demanding requirements of the diverse variety of Products developed at the Rochester site.
• Systems Requirements and Validation.
• Software Architectures.
• Software Requirement Generation/Derivation.
• Software Top level and detailed Design.
• Software Integration.
• Software Verification/Validation.
• Software task maturity tracking.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Expertise with TestStand and LabView
• Experience of working in an engineering environment.
• Experience of Test Equipment design.
• An understanding of the cyber security controls as set out in NIST SP 800-171 and how they affect application development.
