SAP ABAP PI/PO DevOps EngineerContract: 3 Months Based: Frimley (GU16)Day Rate: £500.00 Per day PAYE or £ 675.76 Umbrella inside IR35Hours: 37 hoursOnsite: remote – with some travel to Frimley  BAE Systems are looking for a SAP ABAP PI/PO DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing Digital DevOps team delivering a strong pipeline of transformational change. This is a key role supporting critical SAP ERP and integration platforms, enabling the business to operate more efficiently while driving forward a digital finance transformation agenda    Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP (reports, forms, dialogs, OOP, workflow, enhancements, interfaces)
• Proven experience designing and supporting SAP PI/PO integrations in complex enterprise environments
• Solid understanding of SAP ECC, SAP NetWeaver PI/PO architecture and SAP integration patterns
• Experience integrating SAP with third-party and SaaS applications
• Strong knowledge of OData, SAP Gateway, APIs and SAP Workflow
• Experience working across the full SAP software development lifecycle (Agile and/or Water

  The Job:   

• Design, develop, configure and support SAP ABAP and SAP PI/PO integration solutions, including IDoc, JDBC, SOAP, OData and adapter-based interfaces
• Own the quality, risk assessment and delivery of integration components across end-to-end solutions
• Work as part of a self-organising DevOps team, supporting live applications, resolving incidents, reducing technical debt and delivering new features
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, Analysts and business stakeholders to refine requirements and translate them into robust technical designs
• Troubleshoot, monitor and optimise existing integrations to improve performance, stability and service levels
• Proactively reduce incidents and problems by addressing root causes and knowledge gaps
• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation and designs
• Contribute to cross-module designs that promote consistency and knowledge sharing across the team
• Apply Agile, DevOps and ITIL practices to deliver value continuously and efficiently
