Client: BAE SystemsJob Title: DIG Solution DeveloperDuration: 12 monthsLocation: FiltonHourly Rate: £53.73 PAYE or £72.54 UmbrellaWorking Arrangements: Fulltime on-siteWorking Hours: - 37 hours per week  Overview Join BAE Systems as a Solution Developer and play a vital role in the integration and development of tactical military communication systems.  BAE Systems are looking for individuals with a strong technical background in systems integration, communications engineering, and networking — ideally with ex-military experience or previous work in a military environment.Skills 

• Experience with tactical radios (HF, VHF, UHF, MESH, MANET)
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking fundamentals
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and Android provisioning
• Exposure to ATAK plugins and Agile development
• Basic understanding of JSON, Command Prompt, PowerShell
• Tools: JIRA, Confluence
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

The Job

• Integrate hardware and software into tactical military communication systems
• Support Solution Architects in system and sub-system design
• Develop, test and debug communication systems
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
• Assist in defining system and component tests
• Support technical documentation and deployment activities
