Principal Systems Engineer
Senior/Principal Systems Engineer (MBSE) £ 55,000–£80,000 | North Devon| 2 days a week
I’m currently recruiting for a Senior/Principal Systems Engineer opportunity with a highly established engineering business.
This is a senior technical position working across the full engineering lifecycle, with responsibility for systems engineering, technical leadership and supporting the development and delivery of complex engineering programmes.
The role offers a strong level of flexibility, with only 2 days per week required in the office. A relocation package may also be available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work across the full systems engineering lifecycle
- Provide technical leadership across engineering programmes
- Develop and manage system requirements
- Support requirements management using DOORS
- Apply MBSE / Model-Based Systems Engineering principles
- Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Support system design, integration, verification and validation
- Provide technical input into complex engineering projects
- Communicate technical information to internal and external stakeholders
Key Requirements
- Good knowledge or experience of MBSE
- Strong Systems Engineering background
- Experience working across the engineering lifecycle
- Previous technical leadership experience
- Experience with DOORS
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical experience
- SC clearance or eligibility to obtain SC clearance
Package £55,000–£80,000, depending on experience

Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office
