Over the last six years, they have quietly dominated their sector. Their model is fully proven, rolled out to thousands of locations nationwide, and trusted by some of the biggest enterprise brands in the UK.

They have taken their foundation and built something even more powerful: the central "brain" behind enterprise-level predictive scheduling and resource allocation. By applying AI to multi-year proprietary and public data sources, their platform automatically forecasts hyper-local demand, generates precise capacity suggestions, and builds optimal deployment models automatically.

What started as a smart way to solve immediate bottlenecks has evolved into an end-to-end predictive engine that is incredibly hard to replicate.

Responsibilities for the role:

You will be the engine behind the company’s data capabilities, sitting at the intersection of data engineering, machine learning, and cloud infrastructure.

• Build & Scale: Design and evolve bulletproof ETL/ELT pipelines and maintain a highly reliable, AWS-native data platform (S3, Redshift, Athena, SageMaker, etc.).
• Deploy Cutting-Edge AI: Take advanced forecasting models, LLMs, and agentic workflows out of the sandbox and deploy them into production with ironclad CI/CD and monitoring.
• Solve the Hard Problems: Act as the ultimate technical partner for complex production issues, writing highly optimized SQL for analytics, and building integrations that keep data flowing cleanly across the business.
• Lead & Elevate: Translate broad business challenges into practical, scalable tech solutions, all while mentoring a collaborative team of junior engineers.

Requirements for the role:

We need someone who bridges the gap between complex data engineering and production-grade Machine Learning.

• You’ve got the academic chops (CS, Math, Engineering) combined with deep, practical experience building and orchestrating data pipelines.
• You write exceptional Python and advanced SQL, and you know how to build on modern cloud infrastructure (ideally AWS).
• You aren't just an analyst or a researcher; you have hands-on experience taking ML models into production, serving them, and monitoring them in the wild.
• Above all, you are a pragmatic problem-solver. You thrive in fast-moving environments, take total ownership of your work, and love building scalable systems that make a real-world impact.
