I’m supporting a fast-growing technology organisation that is expanding its operations function in Belfast. They are looking for a Supply Chain Operations Manager to take ownership of a key area focused on end-to-end asset lifecycle management, returns operations, and reverse-logistics performance.

This newly created role offers the chance to design processes from the ground up, work cross-functionally, and drive measurable improvements across supply chain and operational workflows.

The Opportunity

You’ll build a scalable operational framework covering asset intake, processing, returns, and third-party engagement. Working closely with legal, finance, commercial and risk teams, you’ll strengthen controls, reduce loss, and improve overall operational efficiency.

The position also offers strong long-term development into broader operations, supply-chain, commercial or strategy leadership.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and manage scalable asset-lifecycle and reverse-logistics operations end-to-end.
  • Map existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements that protect revenue.
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance and operational health.
  • Lead integration of management platforms and workflow automation tools
  • Manage and negotiate with external logistics and refurbishment partners to improve outcomes.
  • Work with legal to implement recovery workflows and structured escalation processes.
  • Reduce loss and fraud through better controls and data-driven insight.
  • Provide clear reporting and cross-functional visibility to key stakeholders.
  • Own recovery targets and champion continuous improvement.

You’ll Succeed With

  • 3+ years’ experience in logistics, operations or supply chain
  • Degree-level education, ideally in a STEM area.
  • Strong analytical skills using tools such as Looker, Amplitude, Power BI, or similar.
  • Experience negotiating with suppliers, vendors or operational partners.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and KPI/reporting frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
  • A proactive, structured working approach with high ownership and initiative.
  • Interest in sustainable operations or lifecycle management is a plus.
