Senior Payroll Specialist

The Company:

The Role:

Due to continued growth, this is a newly created position to take responsibility for gathering, validating, and managing payroll information from internal stakeholders and ensuring the external payroll providers receive accurate data within agreed timelines.

Responsiblities include:

Payroll Coordination

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll cycle through external payroll providers across multiple countries.
  • Manage the portal for all payrolls in platform
  • Manage the Payroll relationship with the UK external provider who process payroll
  • Collect, review, validate, and submit all payroll-related data, including new starters, leavers, contractual changes, bonuses, commissions, overtime, and benefits.
  • Liaise with HR, Finance, and departmental managers to ensure payroll information is accurate and submitted within required deadlines.
  • Maintain payroll calendars and ensure all internal and external deadlines are met.
  • Review payroll reports produced by external providers and investigate discrepancies before final approval.
  • Ensure payroll taxes are paid by due dates and that Government tax portals are reconciled accordingly
  • Ensure benefits are processed via payroll along with social security obligations

International Payroll Oversight

  • Coordinate payroll activities across multiple international jurisdictions.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for global payroll processes and requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of country-specific payroll regulations, tax requirements, statutory deductions, and employment legislation.
  • Support the expansion of payroll operations into new countries as the business grows.

Skills/Experience:

  • Experience supporting payroll operations across EMEA, APAC, and/or North America.
  • Significant experience managing payroll across multiple international locations.
  • Understanding of global payroll principles, compliance requirements, and employment legislation.
  • Experience working with outsourced payroll providers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple payroll cycles and competing deadlines.
  • Experience working closely with HR, Finance, and third-party vendors.
