Business Development Representative

Our client is a technology organisation supporting businesses across a variety of industries are looking for a Business Development Representative to join their team.

As a Business Development Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for potential clients, identifying decision-makers and building interest in technology solutions. Your role is essential to the sales pipeline, qualifying leads based on specific criteria and scheduling appointments for the sales team.

This is a hybrid role, with three days spent in the office and the remainder of the week working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage with prospective B2B clients through outbound calls, emails and LinkedIn.
  • Research and identify key influencers and decision-makers within target organisations.
  • Assess and qualify new leads against established criteria, understanding their specific needs, budget and project timelines.
  • Secure and schedule well-qualified appointments for the sales team.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all activities in the company's CRM system.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company's technology services to clearly articulate their value to potential clients.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams, sharing market insights and aligning on strategy.

Who They’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in B2B telemarketing within the technology sector.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong Excel knowledge.
  • Analysis and reporting skills to track performance metrics.
  • Self-motivation to succeed in a target-driven environment.
  • Agency experience is desirable.
