Role: Recruitment Consultant – Energy Trading & AI

£27–30k + 40% commission

Chelmsford (hybrid)

This team works with the people building the future of trading: algorithmic power traders, software engineers working on real-time trading systems and quant developers. It’s niche. It’s high-value. It’s not cold calling SMEs about toner.

You’d be working on live roles with businesses like Shell, placing world-class talent into one of the most tech-driven markets in the world.

What the job actually looks like:

• You’ll speak to people in energy trading and advanced tech: coders, traders, data scientists.
• You’ll understand who’s hiring, what they need and how to match the right person.
• You’ll be on the phone and online building real relationships. Not smashing switchboards or pushing a script.

Who this would suit:

• Someone with 3+ years in sales who’s looking for something more specialist, more rewarding.
• You might come from fintech, FX, SaaS, medical or another technical sales background.
• You’re confident, sharp and want to feel proud of what you do.
