Office Administrator Apprentice
The Business Administrator Apprentice will be a key member of Phillips Joinery, responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the business working alongside senior members of the team, to ensure we deliver the best possible service to those we engage with.
Role
- Arranging deliveries and scheduling timings
- Inputting data for invoices and sending to clients
- Chasing overdue orders to achieve required delivery date
- Supporting the Purchasing Department to ensure stock items are available to safeguard continuity of supply
- Communicating with suppliers and supporting invoice queries
- Maintain supplier/client information
- Maintain equipment supplies to meet company requirements
- Assist with creating robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) across the business
- Adhering to all GDPR regulations
- Aid sales and marketing functions, from an administrative and stakeholder engagement capacity
- Ordering and managing compliance
- Cost Management and tracking of expenditure
- Manage emails and customer enquiries
- Create and update job records
- Prepare quotes and documents in readiness for the team to use
- Maintain continuity of supply for internally used items
- Maintain overdue orders reports and liaise with suppliers to expedite
- Adding new stock items to the stock management system
Training
If successful in being offered this position you will be enrolled onto the Business Administrator level 3 apprenticeship programme.
Your training will be provided by EMA Training through online sessions and you will cover the below modules:
- Business Fundamentals
- Communications and Stakeholder Engagement
- Operations and Document Management
- IT Systems and Digital Competency
- Planning, Prioritisation and Project Support
- Decision Making and Process Improvement
- Professionalism and Personal Development
Upon completing the required content, you will be assessed through a knowledge test, project presentation and professional discussion.
