Application Engineer

Role Overview

PLM Central Ltd is looking for an energetic Application Engineer to join the team in the Hertfordshire & London area, focusing on work in the hi‐tech and innovation industry.

Ideal Candidate

This role is suitable for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Hold an Engineering degree or diploma with 2+ years’ design experience using CAD tools.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be able to train and support users on PTC Creo.
• Experience in a pre‐sales role & customer‐facing environment is an advantage.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and problem‐solving aptitude.
• Self‐motivated and customer‐focused attitude.
• Data management and IT skills are beneficial but not essential.

Preferred Software Exposure

(Candidates with hands‐on experience or familiarity with the following tools and systems are preferred)

• Creo
• SolidWorks
• NX
• Inventor
• Windchill
• TeamCenter
• (and other mainstream CAD/PLM systems

Remuneration & Benefits

Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)

Location: Watford office

Working Hours: 9:00 – 17:30
