Cyber Security Consultant

Overview

We have an immediate requirement for a Cyber Security Consultant for a new energy project based in Fife.

Responsibilities

  • Finalising cyber security management plan, detailing how the company will monitor systems for security threats, threat assessments, and threat mitigation procedures.
  • Promoting a culture of cyber security on site and among stakeholders.
  • Aligning and coordinating all parties on completion of their deliverables.
  • Supporting and providing guidance for EC&I completions.
  • Reviewing completions and commissioning plans.
  • Supporting the completion of procedures.

Scope:

  • Project-wide cyber security assessment.
  • Cyber security risk register.
  • Cyber security training plan.
  • Regular cyber security reports, presented to the project management team and key stakeholders.
  • Full handover of detail design information.
  • Technical reports summarising feasibility and identifying design options and alternatives.
  • Recommendations to increase robustness or eliminate root causes during failure investigation.
  • Technical advice and expertise relating to the operation, control and monitoring of automated systems.
  • Disaster recovery/contingency plan in event of any security breach.
  • Guidance documents or instructions to implement recommended actions by onsite staff.
