£60,000 Basic, £120,000 OTE

We offer Cloud, Comms and IT solutions to enable increased security and productivity for SMEs. We have thousands of satisfied customers across the UK and due to increased volumes of business, we are now seeking to recruit a new Public Sector Account Director covering London and the South East.
The Account director will set the technology roadmap, engagement strategy and drive sales growth to hit targets by cross selling and up selling across our full portfolio whilst also retaining existing business and minimising customer churn and revenue erosion.
You will be the Account Lead for a list of 20-25 Local Government accounts along with some Education and NHS clients. You will establish and develop strong relationships with key senior stakeholders and decision makers within the customer base and have a deep understanding of public sector frameworks and the sales process. You will need to work with our vendors and public sector specialist organisations to develop relationships and drive business and engagement.
You will be expected to identify and develop sales opportunities across our entire portfolio of solutions, achieving and exceeding sales targets.
The ideal candidate will have proven Account Director Sales experience of at least 4 years within a Communications or IT based Sales environment. Only a technology based sales background will be suitable. You will demonstrate the ability to create customer growth strategies and have proven sales experience at C-Level or senior director level within the Public Sector. You will have the recognised personal attributes of being tenacious and proactive, with strong planning and organisational skills and be able to demonstrate good communications skills, both verbal and written along with excellent rapport-building skills.
