General Operative Electrical Apprentice
PP Controls are looking for an enthusiastic and practically minded apprentice to support with general assembly, providing accurate build information, technical support and teamwork while developing core engineering skills.
Role
Daily/Weekly Tasks:

General assembly of looms, control panels and electrical cabinets

Woking to build instructions
-
Adhere to quality standards
-
Follow production process and work instructions to achieve operational targets

Maintaining high standard of safety , quality, delivery and order activity in daily operations

Participate in CI activities including 5S and problem solving projects

Support positive team culture through learning collaboration and accountability and company values
Training
- This is a level 2 Engineering Operative Apprenticeship (electrical pathway) delivered over a period of 15 months
- The apprentice will be required to attend the training centre 1 day per week during this period - In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge WS9 8UG
- Upon successful completion, apprentices will be offered a full time position within production, gaining technical skills and experience and also opportunity to working in other departments like projects.
