Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Elastic Engineer for a 6-month hybrid contract based in London. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with the Elastic stack and must be able to independently build and manage ingestion pipelines using Logstash.

Mandatory Skills

• Elastic, Kibana, Logstash (ELK stack)
• Strong expertise in Elastic Search, with deep knowledge of Kibana dashboards and Logstash pipelines
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage ingestion pipelines using Logstash
• Full implementation experience of the Elastic stack (not just monitoring)
• Experience with Elastic Fleet, integrations, and Elastic security features
• Exposure to Kafka, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and security-focused environments
• Solid understanding of Elastic integrations for data ingestion, visualization, and alerting
• Data engineering skills for designing and maintaining scalable pipelines
• Awareness of domain-specific compliance and operational models

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize data ingestion pipelines using Logstash
• Set up and maintain the full Elastic (ELK) stack in production environments
• Analyze logs and telemetry data to extract actionable insights
• Ensure performance, scalability, and availability of the Elastic stack
• Monitor and maintain the health of the Elastic infrastructure
• Work cross-functionally with cloud, data, and security teams to ensure robust and compliant systems
