Office & Social Media Assistant Apprentice
You will have a varied role combining social media, content creation, digital media, podcast production and general office administration. You will work closely with the team to develop and manage our online presence, create engaging content and help showcase our products and business to customers around the world.
Role
Social Media & Content Creation
- Manage and regularly update the company's social media accounts
- Plan and organise a social media content calendar
- Create engaging posts, images, graphics and short-form videos
- Take photographs and videos of products, manufacturing processes and the workplace
- Edit photos and videos for use across social media and other digital platforms
- Develop new ideas for social media content and campaigns
- Monitor social media engagement and help identify ways to grow our online audience
- Research relevant industry trends and social media content ideas
- Maintain a consistent company brand and style across digital platforms
Podcast & Video
- Help develop and manage the company's podcast
- Assist with planning podcast topics and episodes
- Help arrange and prepare for podcast recordings
- Record and edit podcast audio and video
- Create shorter clips and promotional content from podcast episodes
- Upload and publish podcast episodes to relevant platforms
- Develop ideas for future podcast guests and topics
Website & Digital Content
- Assist with updating website content
- Create and edit product images and promotional material
- Help produce digital marketing materials
- Assist with improving product and company information online
- Use software such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Learn and use other digital tools and software as required
Office & Business Support
- Provide general support to the sales and technical teams
- Assist with customer communications
- Help organise documents and digital files
- Assist with product and company administration
- Support the team with day-to-day office tasks
- Develop an understanding of how a small manufacturing business operates
Training
- Study day one day per week.
- Could lead to a permanent position for the right person.
