Shift Supervisor

The Role

As Shift Supervisor, you’ll take ownership of shift operations, leading a team of technicians while acting as the senior point of contact on site. You’ll ensure all systems are operating safely and efficiently, and play a key role in incident management and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Shift Technicians across a 24/7 operation
• Act as HV Authorised Person (AP) – carrying out and overseeing switching operations
• Ensure all critical systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, UPS, generators) are maintained and operational
• Take ownership of incidents, faults, and emergency situations, driving swift resolution
• Manage and approve permits, isolations, and safe systems of work
• Coordinate planned maintenance and ensure minimal impact to operations
• Provide detailed shift reports and handovers to stakeholders and management

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a critical data centre or mission-critical environment
• HV Authorised Person (AP) certification – essential
• Strong leadership and supervisory experience within engineering teams
• Excellent understanding of electrical infrastructure and building services
• Experience managing incidents in high-pressure environments
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
