HR (HCM) Project Manager
HR (HCM) Project Manager - 2 year FTC, based 4 days per week in London.
Our client is a global transportation organisation currently seeking an experienced HR (HCM) Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a global Workday HCM implementation across a complex, federated environment supporting approximately 22,500 users worldwide.
This role offers the opportunity to lead a greenfield transformation programme, replacing legacy systems and manual processes with a single, modern HCM platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle, from discovery and requirements definition through to implementation and global rollout
- Establish and maintain robust project governance, planning, and reporting frameworks
- Manage System Integrator (SI) selection, onboarding, and delivery performance
- Ensure alignment between global standards and local regulatory and operational requirements
- Oversee data migration, testing, deployment, and user adoption
- Engage and manage senior stakeholders across multiple operating companies
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, global HCM implementations
- Experience of leading the end to end delivery of Workday
- Experience in System Integrator/vendor selection and management, including RFP processes
- Ability to operate effectively within a federated, multi-entity environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong understanding of HR processes, data migration, and system integration
- Experience of leading projects end to end from vendor selection through to implementation
- Relevant project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, Agile) desirable
