Procure-to-Pay (PTP) SME

About the Role:

We are seeking a Procure-to-Pay (PTP) Subject Matter Expert to play a key role in our Digital Strategy Programme. You will lead the discovery, design, and implementation of future Finance solutions, with a focus on transforming the end-to-end PTP process to support long-term strategic goals.

This is a business-facing role, working closely with senior stakeholders, SMEs, and end-users to shape and implement best-in-class procurement and finance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the transformation of PTP processes, improving efficiency, automation, and user experience.
• Design and implement to-be processes that address current pain points, aligned with best practice.
• Ensure compliance, governance, and robust control frameworks across procurement and finance.
• Partner with the Digital Strategy Programme and implementation teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Support testing, training, and change management to embed new processes successfully.
• Provide subject matter expertise across sourcing, contract management, accounts payable, inventory management, and spend analytics.

Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience leading PTP or source-to-pay transformation projects in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of PTP processes, digital finance systems, and ERP configuration.
• Strategic thinker with strong financial and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Resilient, adaptable, and able to work at pace in a changing environment.

Qualifications:

• Relevant qualification in Finance, Procurement, or Project Management preferred.

Other Information:

• Some travel may be required.
• Flexibility to support wider programme activities as needed.
