Our client is a leading international construction contractor delivering large-scale industrial and logistics developments across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured projects, they are looking to appoint an experienced Information Controller / Document Controller to join their project delivery team on a major scheme.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor that places digital construction, information management, and collaborative project delivery at the heart of its operations. The business delivers complex projects using advanced digital tools and Common Data Environments (CDEs) to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Information Controller Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all project documentation within the Asite Common Data Environment (CDE).
- Control the flow of information between design teams, subcontractors, consultants, and client stakeholders.
- Ensure all project documents are correctly uploaded, distributed, tracked, and archived in accordance with project procedures and quality standards.
- Maintain document registers, drawing registers, transmittals, and technical submissions.
- Support Design Managers, BIM teams, and project teams with information management requirements.
- Monitor document workflows, approvals, revisions, and version control processes.
- Assist in developing and improving document management processes and project information protocols.
- Produce regular reports on document status, overdue submissions, and project information compliance.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Document Controller, Information Controller, or Project Administrator within the construction industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Asite and Common Data Environments (CDEs).
- Experience working on major construction, industrial, logistics, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of document control procedures, workflows, and revision management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced site environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Salary of 45,000 - 55,000, depending on experience.
