Role: Infrastructure Architect (DDI SME)

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced DDI (DNS, DHCP & IPAM) Subject Matter Expert with strong expertise across DDI technologies. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting scalable DDI infrastructure, along with driving large-scale infrastructure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and support large-scale DDI infrastructure projects, including upgrades and migrations across both physical (servers, appliances) and logical components (software versions, product changes, data migrations)
  • Design, deploy, and operationalise DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) environments across new setups, ensuring scalable and consumable services for internal users
  • Perform risk assessment and management, identifying potential challenges and evaluating downstream impacts on users and services
  • Collaborate effectively across teams, geographies, and time zones, working both independently and within teams
  • Apply project management practices, including planning, documentation, governance, and execution of infrastructure projects

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong expertise in DDI technologies such as Cygna, VitalQIP, AMS & AMM’s, Efficient IP, Infoblox, and F5 BIG-IP DNS
  • Deep understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, and DNS
  • Proven experience delivering DDI infrastructure projects and managing implementations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in English

Additional Skills (Good to Have)

  • Familiarity with automation and scripting tools such as shell scripting, Ansible, VBA, Python, JavaScript, JSON, and API integration or development
  • Experience working in Agile environments, including participation in Agile ceremonies
  • Working knowledge of tools such as JIRA
