We are recruiting on behalf of a globally recognised organisation that provides market intelligence, advisory services, analytics and software solutions to over 1,000 of the world's leading energy companies, governments, utilities and investors.

As part of a major People & Culture (HR) transformation programme, our client is implementing SAP SuccessFactors and is seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Engineer (Employee Central) to become the in-house Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the platform.

Initially, you'll play a key role in the implementation project alongside the SAP SuccessFactors implementation partner. Following go-live, you'll take ownership of the platform, ensuring it is secure, optimised and continuously enhanced to support the evolving needs of the business.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors professional who enjoys owning an enterprise HR platform, working closely with HR stakeholders, Business Analysts, implementation partners and technical teams to deliver continuous improvement and business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the internal SAP SuccessFactors Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Support the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors and transition into business-as-usual operations.
  • Configure, administer, maintain and continuously enhance SAP SuccessFactors, with a strong focus on Employee Central.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure a consistently high level of service delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional and system issues, working closely with the SAP Application Management Support (AMS) partner where required.
  • Plan, prepare for and support SAP SuccessFactors bi-annual releases, including impact assessments, testing and deployment activities.
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture team, Business Analysts and stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective SAP SuccessFactors solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, optimisation and continuous improvement across HR processes.
  • Support, monitor and troubleshoot SAP SuccessFactors integrations with internal and third-party systems.
  • Develop, maintain and improve reports and dashboards within SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data quality, integrity and compliance.
  • Produce and maintain system documentation, configuration documentation and change records.
  • Support end-user adoption through documentation and training.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, information security standards, ISO 27001 and organisational policies.
  • Follow change management processes and deliver enhancements to agreed quality, cost and timescales.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience supporting, configuring and administering SAP SuccessFactors within a global organisation.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Certification .
  • At least one additional SAP SuccessFactors certification , such as:

  • Proven experience configuring and supporting Employee Central and other SuccessFactors modules.
  • Experience supporting live production SAP SuccessFactors environments.
  • Experience managing SAP SuccessFactors bi-annual release cycles.
  • Strong understanding of HRIS/HRMS systems and HR business processes.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional solutions.
  • Experience supporting and monitoring SuccessFactors integrations.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards within SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Strong understanding of data security, GDPR and information governance.
  • Experience working within Agile environments using Jira or similar tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage priorities independently within a fast-paced environment.
