Description
As Business Development Manager, you will drive enterprise growth across the UK, focusing on large, complex estate-level opportunities. This is a full-cycle, consultative sales role where you will:
- Identify and develop new opportunities across key target sectors
- Lead outbound and account-based sales activity
- Run discovery sessions to uncover operational, financial and net-zero drivers
- Deliver compelling solution demonstrations and ROI-led presentations
- Build commercial proposals for multi-site deployments
- Manage multiple stakeholders across technical, commercial and executive levels
- Own deals from first conversation through to close
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management
Sales cycles typically range from single-site pilots to multi-year, multi-property agreements.
Profile
You are commercially minded, confident selling complex value propositions, and experienced in driving consultative B2B sales cycles. Ideal experience includes:
- B2B SaaS or solution-led sales
- Managing multi-stakeholder environments
- Strong discovery, engagement and value-articulation skills
- Ability to travel for client meetings across the UK
- Experience producing commercial proposals and negotiating contracts
- Experience in energy, PropTech, FM, HVAC or smart-buildings is beneficial but not essential - mindset and capability matter most.
