Description
I am recruiting for 2 Managers, TMT Economic Advisory for a global consultancy based in London. You will be involved in:
- Supporting clients through formal regulatory proceedings, due diligence processes for major international transactions, competition disputes
- Regulatory costing advice for telecoms regulators
- Expert regulatory and costing advice for international mobile and fixed network operators.
- Industry insights on international good practice to inform 5G and fibre strategies for international telecoms businesses.
- Support clients through formal regulatory proceedings, due diligence processes for major international transactions, competition disputes, and public policy campaigns and consultations.
Profile
The applicant:
- A strong academic background in Economics, Business, Industrial Economics or Econometrics.
- A solid understanding of the economic principles and considerations in regulation, competition and public policy, and/or regulatory finance and econometrics;
- Experience applying economic theory and quantitative analysis to understand, assess and influence economic regulation and other market interventions, particularly in the TMT sector gained in either, government, a regulator, industry or consultancy
- Experience developing or assessing economic impact assessments and/or economic business cases for government policy interventions; and
- Experience with client relationship management, new business development and sales.
