Product Delivery Lead - People Products - Media

This is a 12 month fixed term contract for a (internal) Product Delivery Lead to help land strategic People products and transformation activity through a clear, repeatable delivery framework.

Our client is a large, complex UK Media organisation with a major People Strategy and Transformation function. They are investing in how People products, services and change initiatives are designed, launched, adopted and improved across the business.

The organisation is evolving its product framework and needs a delivery lead who can bring structure, pace and clarity to a high profile transformation environment.

Description

The Product Delivery Lead will help translate strategic People priorities into structured, scalable and repeatable go to market delivery.

The role will work across People Strategy, Product, Learning and Development, Communications, Finance, People Services, technology teams and employee networks to ensure initiatives land with clarity, consistency and measurable impact.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Translate People product and transformation priorities into clear launch plans, delivery roadmaps and launch frameworks
  • Support the rollout and iteration of a product framework across priority People initiatives
  • Help land learning, skills, AI enabled academy and wider People products with strong user adoption
  • Establish clear stage gates, readiness checkpoints, operating rhythms and delivery forums
  • Create a single source of truth for launch plans, risks, decisions, artefacts and progress
  • Move delivery discipline beyond Excel, supporting stronger use of tools such as Monday.com, Jira or equivalent workflow platforms
  • Partner closely with communications teams to align narrative, stakeholder engagement and launch activity
  • Work with Finance and senior stakeholders to support prioritisation, benefits visibility and delivery decision making
  • Balance central standardisation with local flexibility across different teams and user groups
  • Design practical enablement materials, launch assets, toolkits, templates and playbooks
  • Use data, feedback and user insight to refine launch approaches and improve product adoption
  • Coach teams in repeatable People Product delivery, continuous improvement and cross functional collaboration
  • Bring energy, pace and constructive challenge to complex, ambiguous and politically sensitive delivery environments

Profile

The successful candidate is likely to have experience in Internal Product Delivery or Transformation Consulting and have a passion for people-centric change / technology.

They will be able to show evidence of turning strategy into practical delivery, building frameworks and helping internal products or services land successfully with users.

They will bring:

  • Experience leading product launch delivery, transformation delivery, product operations or programme delivery in a complex organisation
  • Strong understanding of how to launch internal products, services or change initiatives with measurable adoption
  • A product mindset, with focus on users, journeys, value propositions, insight and iteration
  • Ability to create frameworks, operating models, playbooks, templates and delivery toolkits
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • Experience working across People, Product, Communications, Finance, Technology or Shared Services teams
  • Confidence running delivery rhythms such as stand ups, sprint reviews, readiness checkpoints, retrospectives and decision forums
  • Practical understanding of continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma principles or benefits realisation
  • Strong data literacy, with ability to define adoption measures, feedback loops and performance indicators
  • Experience using or embedding consistent use of delivery tools such as Monday.com, Jira, SharePoint, Power BI or equivalent platforms
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to simplify complexity and create clear visual materials to drive influence
  • High energy, resilience and comfort working in ambiguity
