Project Manager - Managed Services

We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to support programmes within a Managed Services environment. Working closely with customers, stakeholders and technical teams, you'll help deliver successful outcomes.

Description

As a Senior Project Manager, you will support on technology projects. You'll play a key role in bringing together customers, stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed objectives, timescales and budgets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support defining project scope, deliverables, risks, dependencies and resource requirements
  • Creating and maintaining detailed project plans and delivery schedules
  • Building trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Providing clear project governance, reporting and communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Working closely with technical specialists and architects to support successful delivery
  • Monitoring project progress and helping teams navigate risks, issues and dependencies
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed methodologies and governance standards
  • Managing project budgets and supporting commercial objectives
  • Encouraging collaboration across cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals
  • Supporting exceptional customer experiences and successful project outcomes

Profile

  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing medium to large-scale technology projects
  • Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile or PMP
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility and influence outcomes at all levels
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and customers
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams to deliver successful project outcomes
  • Excellent organisational, planning and prioritisation skills
  • Experience managing project budgets, governance and commercial performance
  • An understanding of Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365 platforms and migration strategies
  • Analytical and solution-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Flexibility to travel where required to support successful project delivery

Desirable Experience

  • Delivering IT infrastructure, cloud or digital transformation projects
  • Working within cloud infrastructure environments and migration programmes
  • Supporting Microsoft Azure projects, including infrastructure or application migrations
  • Exposure to Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace transformation initiatives
  • Experience working within a Managed Services environment
  • Azure Fundamentals certification or higher
  • Exposure to ITIL-aligned environments and service management change programmes

Job Offer

  • Predominantly remote role, with client visits typically once a week or fortnightly to a London based client
  • Role assessed as Outside IR35, subject to final determination.
  • £400-£500 per day, depending on experience.
  • Initial 8 week engagement, with the possibility of extending.
