We are partnering with a global organisation undertaking a significant, multi-year business and technology transformation programme. This is an opportunity to join a high-profile transformation team responsible for delivering strategic change across multiple business functions and technology platforms.

The successful candidate will lead complex technical workstreams, drive programme governance, and provide leadership across project management activities to ensure successful delivery against business objectives.

As a Senior Technical Transformation Programme Manager, you will be responsible for managing large-scale technical projects and transformation workstreams from initiation through to delivery. Working alongside senior stakeholders, technical teams and PMO functions, you will ensure programmes are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

This role combines hands-on programme delivery with governance, assurance and leadership across multiple project teams.

• Lead the successful delivery of complex technical projects and transformation workstreams.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, schedules and resource plans.
• Ensure delivery aligns with agreed scope, quality standards, timelines and financial targets.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies and change requests, escalating where appropriate.
• Coordinate internal teams and third-party suppliers to achieve programme objectives.
• Conduct regular project reviews with delivery teams and senior stakeholders.
• Provide mentoring, guidance and escalation support to Project Managers across multiple workstreams.

• Establish and embed project assurance as a core programme discipline.
• Perform project health checks, audits and delivery reviews.
• Identify delivery risks early and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor portfolio health and provide regular reporting to programme leadership.
• Ensure governance processes are consistently applied across all projects.
• Provide confidence that delivery commitments will be achieved across time, cost and quality measures.

• Build strong relationships with senior business and technical stakeholders.
• Communicate programme progress clearly and effectively at all levels.
• Influence decision-making through accurate reporting and effective governance.
• Manage competing priorities across multiple business areas.

• Excellent knowledge of programme governance and project assurance.
• Strong change management experience within enterprise environments.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships.
• Financial management experience including forecasting, budgeting and cost control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience improving project delivery processes and governance frameworks.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with project management methodologies and delivery tools.

• Experience working within large enterprise transformation programmes.
• Knowledge of Active Directory environments.
• Experience within highly regulated industries.
• Exposure to global or multi-regional technology programmes.

• Degree educated (or equivalent experience).
• Professional Project Management qualification (such as PRINCE2, PMP, MSP or Agile certifications) is advantageous.
• Evidence of continued professional development.
