About the Role

As Paravision’s presence continues to expand globally, this exciting new role combines technical pre-sales, solution design, and ongoing technical support.

As a Senior Solutions Engineer , you will work directly with customers and integrators to design and implement solutions using Paravision’s APIs and SDKs, while collaborating closely with engineering and product teams to improve the platform. You’ll also act as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers successfully deploy Paravision technology while influencing product direction through real-world feedback.

This is a fully remote role reporting to the company’s US-based Staff Solutions Engineer. The position involves regular collaboration across international time zones and approximately 5-10% travel annually for customer, partner, and internal meetings primarily across the UK and Europe. Being based in or near the Greater London area is preferred.

Please note that any candidate hired must be eligible to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance. Paravision will sponsor and fund the clearance process.

What You'll Do

Customer Solutions:

• Serve as a primary technical contact for customers, partners, and system integrators.
• Guide customers through integration and deployment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues through resolution.
• Provide clear and proactive technical communication.
• Support solutions built on Paravision APIs and SDKs.

Pre-Sales & Enablement:

• Support sales teams on strategic opportunities and key accounts.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and product demonstrations.
• Support proof-of-concepts and pilot deployments.
• Advise customers on integration and deployment best practices.

Product & Technical Collaboration:

• Reproduce bugs and communicate effectively with developers.
• Work with engineering to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Provide structured customer feedback to product teams.

Documentation & Technical Content:

• Develop technical documentation and integration guides.
• Collaborate with engineering to create reference architectures and implementation examples.
• Improve developer-facing materials around APIs and SDKs.

Who We're Looking For

Required:

• At least 7–8 years of experience in a highly technical customer-facing role (e.g. Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar).
• Strong customer-focused mindset.
• The ability to clearly and concisely communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences alike.
• Proficiency in leading SDK demos and sample apps, capturing logs, reproducing issues, and communicating findings clearly to engineering.
• Working knowledge of and past exposure to programming in Android/iOS, Python, C++, Go, Java, and/or C# (deep programming experience not required).
• The ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced startup environment with ease and confidence.
• Hands-on experience supporting SaaS platforms, APIs, and/or SDK-based products.
• Experience working across distributed teams and time zones.

Preferred:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field.
• Experience with computer vision, biometrics, and/or identity technologies.
• Experience supporting government or other regulated-sector customers.
• Previous or current UK SC-level clearance is a plus.
