Business Development Manager
Job Title: Business Development/SDR Manager
Salary: £33-35k basic, £50k + with OTE/Commission

A Tech enterprise that emerged a little over ten years ago, but is now an institution across the UK, parts of Europe and Asia, is growing in multiple markets and geographies across the UK.
They're looking for a senior Business Development Manager to come in and lead their Sales Development function. In driving the function, you will provide support and leadership to junior members of the team, leading by example and helping maximise the potential of those with less experience.
Business Development Manager Package:
- A competitive basic salary of £33-35k
- Additional OTE/commission taking your total earnings to £50k!

Successful candidates will possess a natural flair for engaging with people, they'll employ a consultative approach with their customers as the face and mouthpiece of the company's prestigious brand. You'll enjoy an autonomous role in which you decide your own progression based on your strengths and interests.
Junior Business Development Manager Role:
- Acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the company, its marketplace, competitors and target client
- Undertake effective territory planning and preparation - determine when and which clients/prospects to visit to ensure opportunity is capitalised upon
- Demonstrate best practice to junior members of the team, leading by example and enabling them to succeed
- Manage and monitor the performance of the junior sellers
- Generate leads, qualify opportunities and deliver a positive culture by setting the standard
Business Development Manager:
- Ideally educated to degree level
- 1-2 years of experience as a successful SDR
- Excellent leadership qualities and resilience
- Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Curiousity, with a problem solving mindset
- A strong work ethic with a positive outlook
