About the Role:

As a Graduate Professional Services Consultant, you will work for a software company. This role is a blend of technical expertise, client-facing communication, and project management. It's a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced software environment and contribute directly to both customer success and product development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting demonstrations and consulting sessions and documenting them with meeting minutes.
  • Documenting customer business requirements and mapping them functionality.
  • Utilizing industry knowledge to advise customers on best practice implementation approaches.
  • Planning, managing, and communicating project progress to achieve milestones and maintain momentum.
  • Managing customer expectations regarding project scope, timeline, responsibilities, and risk management.
  • Configuring the application to meet customer requirements.
  • Providing follow-up consulting and assistance to customers.
  • Assisting the Business Development Director with presales activities like product demonstrations and gap analysis.
  • Creating detailed and accurate specification documentation for clients when system customization is needed.
  • Assisting the Project Manager with project documentation, managing the delivery plan, and handling risks, issues, and budgets.

Candidate Requirements

  • A minimum 2:1 degree in Business, Computer Science, Maths, or Facilities Management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly in collating and manipulating data in Excel.
  • Familiarity with Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Familiarity with project management and common software implementation methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to absorb new product knowledge and multitask across multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail and meticulous organization.
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and adaptability.
  • A collaborative team player.
