Software Engineering Manager

A large retail bank is looking to hire an Engineering Manager into retail banking team to help them re-imagine their retail banking operations

Leading 3-4 teams totalling c. 40 engineers, you will oversee the definition of the technical strategy and advise on product roadmaps and migration plans to achieve strategic goals whilst also building the team, from scratch, a quite unique opportunity

We are seeking individuals who have held roles leading multiple teams before whilst working as part of a larger software engineering team and where you have had to influence across these teams too, helping to instill best practice. Coming from a strong Java engineering background will be needed. Financial services experience is not needed but you must come from a business that had either millions of daily customers or build systems that handles millions of requests / transactions per day.
