1st Line IT Support Analyst
Do you have a strong knowledge of Office 365 E3 and system administration? We are recruiting for a 1st line IT Support Analyst to play a crucial role in a fast-paced Digital and Data Operations team. As a 1st Line IT Support Analyst, you will provide support and guidance to employees and external stakeholders in all aspects of end-user computing and broader application and infrastructure queries and issues, ensuring the smooth run of their IT estate. The 1st Line IT Support Analyst will troubleshoot and restore routine technical service and equipment problems by analysing, identifying root cause, diagnosing faults and following established procedures . Visa sponsorship is not offered.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1st line IT support of daily query resolution operations from internal and external users
- Configure, install, monitor and maintain IT users’ desktop software and hardware
- Provide technical and application support, exercising troubleshooting
- Support internal users on resolution of system and equipment issues and new set up
- Provide support to wider IT estate operation, including user and account management
- Support website and provide external IT support to Trading Parties
- Meet defined KPI's and support the team to achieve the same.
- Identify improvements for the efficient daily run of IT Operations.
- Evaluate, maintain, modify and document desktop application packages
- Participate in the testing and evaluation of new desktop packages and implement prototypes
- Documenting solutions to problems and developing end-user guidelines.
Knowledge and Skills
- Office 365 E3 and system administration experience is essential
- Understanding of cyber security fundamentals
- Proven methodical diagnostic skills to resolve issues
- Knowledge of operating systems and common software/applications
- A methodical approach to diagnosing the root cause of unfamiliar issues
- Individual must possess strong technical aptitude and the desire to acquire knowledge
- Strong customer service ethos and excellent communication skills
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time and quality management skills
- Able to work under tight schedules and consistently meet objectives
- Azure is desirable
- Related professional qualifications are beneficial, but not essential.
